From Chamonix to Mègeve through to Val d’Isère and Courchevel, the quaint landscape of snow-covered fir trees takes your breath away, and your French Alps vacation rental is the perfect base for a winter holiday exploring the unspoiled nature of this magnificent mountain range. Located in the best Alpine resorts our chalets are magnificent works of art awaiting families and groups of friends alike for reviving holidays.

Choose one of our ski chalets in the French Alps with the slopes right at your door if you’re a fan of the winter sports. Explore the 600 km of slopes of the Trois-Vallées ski area from a chalet rental in legendary Courchevel or Méribel, just a stone’s throw away from the action.

For those addicted to the thrill, we recommend staying in Val d’Isère ski resort, the capital of snowsports. Here the adults can enjoy exciting speedriding or slalom down vertiginous slopes. Or enjoy a more family-oriented activity: the ice skating rink and the sleigh area will be the highlight of the little ones’ holiday. And just beside it, the village of Tignes catches up with exciting paragliding which offers amazing mountain landscape views or ice diving for the brave, and horse riding on snow or snowtubing for the curious. In the evening, as you return to your French Alps vacation rental from your exhilarating day out in the snow, warm up in the hot tub while the children gather around the crackling fire. Then, get together for an evening of relaxation in your chalet’s indoor swimming pool or of quality time in the home cinema.

Choose a French Alps chalet close to the centre of the village if you prefer a holiday of discovering the local gastronomy and the village history. A chalet in the center of Chamonix will allow you to pamper yourself in its spa facilities and wellness centres. Once a small mountain village, the streets of the nowadays world-famous ski resort are bustling with shops and restaurants, where you can have a casual coffee on a terrace or an extraordinary gastronomic experience.

Courchevel 1550 is mostly made up of apartment blocks and hotels, especially through the centre of the village. You’ll still come across several ski chalets available for private booking.

Most of the apartment blocks have been refurbished in recent years giving you a great selection of self-catering options. It’s a way to comfortably enjoy Courchevel on a tighter budget.

A number of hotels give you added service and luxury although choice is a little limited in the small village.

Ski chalets are becoming increasingly popular here as more money flows down the hill from 1850. There’s a growing choice from well known travel companies and private booking suppliers. On the outskirts to the village you’ll see these chalets, often with ski in / ski out access and stunning views down the valley at sunset.

Is it your first time skiing? Then it is essential to have ski lessons.

If you already have experience, you can take your technique to the next level. The better you become the more fun there is to be had on the mountain.

You can choose from a wide range of ski schools and private instructors. Private ski instructors accelerate your learning. In addition, they can meet you at your chalet and act as your guide for the day. Group lessons are available for booking at bigger ski schools.
